تَبَّتۡ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ ﴿١﴾
1. The power of Abu Lahab will perish, and he will perish.

The Palm Fibre
Surah 111 · Juz 30 · Meccan · 5 verses
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ ﴿٢﴾
2. His wealth and gains will not exempt him.
سَيَصۡلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ ﴿٣﴾
3. He will be plunged in flaming Fire,
وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلۡحَطَبِ ﴿٤﴾
4. And his wife, the wood-carrier,
فِى جِيدِهَا حَبۡلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍۭ ﴿٥﴾
5. Will have upon her neck a halter of palm-fibre.
